Blurred Lines, Wavy Edges | OOTD

She's the kind of girl you wanna marry
The kind of girl you walk the whole earth for
Put her on your back and just carry
Her attitude is hotter than the earth's core
When she's around nothing else matters
Untouchable she's got her own force field
Sooner or later someone will get at her
If I don't someone else will
-- Robin Thicke, "Wanna Love Ya Girl"

'Fashion Floozy' Crew neck - DIY'd | Grey Striped Tee - PacSun
Neon Pink Socks- Target | Skull Scarf- Wet Seal
Black Leggings- Marshall's | White 1960 Dr. Marten Boots - EBay

Most of the time, I let my outfits do the talking for me. Today was no exception. I love making a statement whether it's with bold colors or blatant messages or big chunky boots that scream move out of my way. I seriously tried on ten different outfits this morning before settling on this one. It just felt right and nowadays I'm all about good vibes. Ombre has been a really huge trend and I decided to throw on this crew neck sweatshirt I made last year. It screams spring because of the colors and also crew necks are my favorite ways to stay warm during those cold spring nights. I don't know what it is with my and having scarves hang from my breeches but I absolutely adore the visual you get when the wind trails it behind you as you walk. These white Docs are my favorite spring boot. I've noticed that a lot of my favorite fashionistas have also been rocking boots and shoes with bright shoe laces as of late. I love how the white contrast with the yellow laces.  It makes a plain boot just that much more interesting. This spring weather is seriously putting me in a good mood and I can just imagine soon I can wear this type of outfit with shorts or a skirt without freezing! Yipppeee for warm weather. I think socks and beanies are my favorite accessories of all times. Every outfit I plan in my head is made better with the addition of at least one of the two. I have honestly worn this beanie daily but I don't care. I love it. I'm thinking of buying a few more statement beanies while it's still cool enough to wear them.  I have this thing about brick walls, I think they are just beautiful. So i jumped at the chance to shoot photos at this brick wall. I like discovering new backgrounds for my photos.

Can I just say that I didn't think my heart can handle all these fine gentlemen in one video. I love Robin Thicke's new song Blurred Lines. It's just feel good music as is most of his music. When I heard this song I instantly thought of my favorite Robin Thicke song that also included Pharrell Williams ( The Ultimate Love of My Life) "Wanna Love Ya Girl". I have downloaded both on my phone and ironically my shuffle plays them back to back. Both of these songs make me wanna let loose on the dance floor (my car) which I often do. I do hope you enjoy Robin's newest song and my favorite oldie as much as I.

Just Do It | OOTD

Follow your Intuition
Be Smart
Be Brave
Tell the Truth
& Don't Take Any SHIT.
-- Kelly Cutrone

Olive Anorak - American Eagle | Grey V-neck shirt - Gap
Cheetah cardigan - Thrift'd | White skinny jeans - Forever 21
Oxlood beanie - Target | Minnetonka Double Fringe Booties - Journeys

I love dressing for the spring time, I love light layers, floral prints, pastels, and bright colors. This morning I attended a Kids Spring Fashion Show at my local Nordstroms because nephew was in it. The weather was quite chilly so I wanted to keep my look fresh and neat but stay warm at the same time. I decided to pull my white jeans out then go for a pretty neutral colors on top. I ended up wearing this outfit. This outfit is my twist on smart or chic layering. This green anorak is honestly my favorite spring jacket, it's slouchy enough that I can fit just about anything underneath it.It also does this thing where it slightly slides off my shoulder and I absolutely adore it.  Grey is slowly becoming my favorite neutral color, I just love the way grey can be worn with anything. I swear this heather grey v neck is one of my favorite basic shirts I own, I'm always finding ways to dress it up or down. I've been so bad at DIY'ing lately and this cheetah cardigan is a prime example. I found this cardigan at goodwill ages ago and wanted to throw some neon accents around the print to spice it up. I have yet to do so and how I'm feeling right now, I may never get to it. I have had no motivation at all to DIY anything for months now and it's quite sad. Hopefully this Spring will bring me some motivation. Lastly we have my favorite booties of probably all time, my Minnetonka double fringe booties. These booties feed my bohemian soul. Although I may be a rock 'n' roller at heart, there is a tiny piece of me that loves a life lived organically. These booties hit my leg at the perfect spot, they're also very comfortable. I think they make a statement but blend into the background as well.

There isn't much I can say about this song other than it makes me feel like a chopped and screwed thug. And no this song is neither chopped nor screwed. It's just the perfect relaxed out thug life song I've heard recently. I kinda like the idea of living life like you're bulletproof and just doing what you have to do to make it. So take a listen to "Bulletproof" by Yo Gotti and vibe like thugs do...

Touch Infinity | OOTD

You're like the ocean
Pretty enough on the surface ...
but dive down into your depths,
you'll find beauty
most people never see
-- Ellen Hopkins, Burned

This jacket is my life now ..( in my best Edward Cullen Voice)

This is what happens when you let
ratchet people attend your photo shoots...
Infinity Jean Jacket - Thrift'd | YMCA Life Guard tank - Thrift'd
Black Skinny jeans - Forever 21 | Hot Pink Toms

Ever had one of those days where lazy is the only thing you wanted to do all day. Well here I am and here we are. I am totally turned off by the thought of doing anything productive today. I am sloth personified. I had decided to watch movies, listen to music and lay on the couch all day until my friend called and wanted to go shopping for some Easter outfits. I forced myself away from the couch and  threw this number together. It's relaxed and fun. I love mixing colors together and since each color is subtle, it's not overwhelming. I have no clue why I absolutely adore this tank, but it is seriously one of my faves. Toms are definitely my lazy day shoes, they are easy to put on and comfy. For about three months last year, I lived in Toms. I barely wear them now but today was a good day for them. This jacket is the love of my life. The word infinity means so much to me and when I saw this jacket at a thrift store last month, I knew it was meant to me. This jacket was sent into my life from destiny. I have plans to distress it a bit but for now I shall marvel in the sheer beauty of this etched word on this denim jacket.

From the looks of it, anything Chris Brown touches I am instantly in love with. I think it's just a manifestation of my school girl crush into my semi-adult world. He recently got on a track with Sean Kingston called "Beat It". This track also features Wiz Khalifa. So of course it has a DOPE VIBE to it. I love how Chris recycled some lyrics from his younger days as well. Every time I hear this song, I wanna get up and dance. Enjoy peeps ...

South Beach | OOTD

Would you believe me
if I said I'm in love?
Baby, I want you to want me
Would you believe me
if I said I'm in love?
Baby, I want ya
-- "Power Trip", J.Cole & Miguel

My nephew decided to participate in my photo shoot ... modeling his new shirt from
Panama City Beach that changes color in the sunlight.

Something about blurry pictures intrigues me

Jean Jacket- Levi's | Miami Dolphins Crew-neck - Thrift'd
Patterned Sweatpants - Thrift'd | White Chuck Taylors

I was definitely spoiled by all the sunshine and warm weather in Florida this past weekend when I went to Panama City Beach for spring break. So when I saw the sun out this morning, I got excited. Too bad it isn't as warm as in FL. I still haven't recovered from vacation so I wanted to be comfy today. These sweatpants were one of those goodwill finds that are kinda hideous but something makes you buy it regardless. They are quilted which makes me instantly think Chanel and then the cutesy flower print is so small that from far away it looks like polka dots. Crew-neck sweatshirts are something I always search for when I go thrift'n. This is hands down my favorite find of all. I love the contrast of these two colors so much its crazy DOPE! I finally broke down and bought a pair of low top white chucks before I went on vacation, they are beaten down and broken in now. Definitely a staple shoe for the spring and summer! Any who I plan on posting a few vacation photos here soon!

You know how you get a song stuck in your head and you think you got rid of it and it comes back all over again. Well this week I've had "Power Trip" by J.Cole ft. Miguel stuck in my head. I absolutely love this song. It's hypnotizing, the beat is sick and Miguel's voice is everything. Check it out for yourself!
