It always surprises me how much I love my outfits after I photograph them. I woke up this morning and decided I was too lazy to care what I looked like . Since I don't have too many chances to put on real clothes, I decided to give today a chance. And here you have it folks. I found some fresh white shorts in a random pile in my room and started my outfit from there. I found this shirt in the back of my closet and honestly I had forgotten about it. My intent was to crop this shirt but I'm glad I didn't. I love the slouchy look. I have no idea why I've been gravitating to black and white lately but it just works. I have been dying to wear this socks for the past two weeks. I decided they looked best with a pair of imitation timberland boots that I am in the middle of customizing. I can't wait to show you guys the end results. The best part of having a fashionable mother is that her closet is full of goodies. I love finding gems like this jacket in her closet, that's just one less thing I have to buy while thrifting. I am a firm believer that a red lip changes the tone of any outfit and it rings true today. I am so into red lipsticks at the moment and can't wait until Rihanna releases her Ri Ri Woo this weekend. 

Say what you want about Ke$ha but I love her. Not only is she a Tennessean but she's just so comfortable in being loud and out there just like me. her newest song with will.I.am is an ode to the crazy kids, those of us who stick out like a sore thumb. I love this vibe and I definitely see me driving around town with my windows bumping this. So find out of you're a "Crazy Kid"

I love the options warm weather gives me. I love the fact that i can get up throw on some jeans, shirt, loafers and keep it moving. Today I just didn't feel like being bothered with my appearance  So i guess you can say I tried to blend in. The green Levi jeans are a new purchase and they were definitely worth it. I love this color. I started a love affair with denim ages ago and it's just recently that I've moved on to colored and printed denim. These jeans just scream Spring/Summer to me but I also see many ways they can be worn in the colder months too. I was looking around for a headband to wear but couldn't find one I liked so I decided to sew the bottoms of two shorts I had cut up to DIY together and viola... denim headband.  I don't know when I feel in love with The Ramones, probably while watching one of those 90s inspired movies I love so much. I loved how unbusy their outfits were, fitted tanks, fitted jeans, and some sneakers. Sometimes simplicity says so much more than a busy outfit ever could. 

Since I was feeling like a punk rocker today I decided to leave you with some punk rock. Fall Out Boy was the first band that I listened to that made me consider listening to other music. They are probably the band that started me on my exploration of music. So here is a new track ft. Big Sean. I absolutely love when Rap and Rock'n'Roll join forces.  So listen to how "The Mighty Fall"

I've never been the type of person to match colors in my outfits, I love clashing colors and prints when I get dressed but lately I've been feeling the need to match. It's kinda scary but It seems so fresh and new to me. I have been eyeing these neon chucks at work  for quite awhile now. As soon as we got them in, everyone at work knew I'd end up buying them but I wasn't so sure. But seriously how could I say no to neon and chucks at the same time. This neon beanie is newly purchased; I love how it screams warm weather and stop and look at me in the same breathe. This shirt from Forever 21 gives me an A$AP Rocky vibe. After seeing Rihanna walk around Miami in a t-shirt looking fly, I figured I'd give it a try.  This is honestly one of my favorite outfits I've thrown together as of late. I feel so chilled and relaxed today but my outfit screams otherwise and I kinda love it. I'm enjoying this spring weather and all the outfit options it gives me. 

I'm kinda ashamed that it's taken me this long to feature Drake's newest songs on here. I absolutely adore Drake and seriously it seems like he can do no wrong on a track. Last Monday he released TWO NEW TRACKS -- "No New Friends" and "Girls Love Beyonce"! I honestly was in heaven. I am loving this new OVO Sound and I am so excited for Drake's new album. I'm tired of waiting for it but at least I have new music to jam to. Everyone has been buzzing off these songs, hopefully Drake drops this album on us soon 

First up is "No New Friends" -- I love how hype this song gets me yet I feel so chilled out. I feel like Drake is being his usual silly self in this song and I love it. It's simple enough to just vibe to but the hook is catchy so it stays stuck in your head. It's just another classic Drake track in my eyes. He is like the king of catch phrases. First YOLO, then Started from the Bottom, now No New Friends!!

Next Up is " Girls Love Beyonce" -- This is the Drake that makes me swoon! I love when he's crooning out these sad love songs, makes me just wanna love on him. His honesty on tracks suprises me every time, he just lays in out on the table as best he can without showing his hand. I respect it so much when he talks about real life issues we all have. Plus the way the crew has been sampling other songs in some of  his new music have been so freakin DOPE! Such an interesting twist to an old Destiny's Child song, Too bad I'm not one of those Girls who loves Bey!
