I always say that it's shoes and accessories that make an outfit so I decided to play with that idea today. I decided to style these new shorts I DIY'd last night in two different ways. I grabbed this simple stripped faux turtleneck crop top and got to work. The first styling of this outfit is above. I love wearing socks with sandals and as soon as spring hits, I go looking for new combos I can come up with. I figured since this outfit was pretty simple with the black and white I could throw on a bright teal sock with a loud print like cheetah to add a little oomph. This black floppy hat makes this outfit feminine for me. I see this outfit as a getting lunch with the girls on a Sunday afternoon.

Next up is an outfit I'd wear to go shopping or in today's case to go to class. I decided to put my hair in a messy top knot with a cheetah headband for a little pattern clashing. I decided to put on my white docs which are seriously my favorite boots at the moment. I broke the strap on my bright neon satchel so I've decided to use it as a clutch. I heard it was supposed to rain today as well so i grabbed by army jacket just for a little bit of warmth if it does.

Both of these outfits fit my personality perfectly. They are fun and not too serious.  Last night at work, one of my co-workers found something that we could use as a stamp for  a frequent DIY projects. I tried it as soon as I got home and here we have it. New SHORTS!!! I loved how they turned out. They are simple but still make a statement. I seriously have a crop top obsession, it's getting serious! I took way too many pictures today and I was too lazy to do some serious editing so I arranged them in this cute little grid. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. If there's a picture you wanna see blown up, just click on it. Any who smooches...

All today I've just been jamming along to music with good vibes. So while taking pictures "Kid Frankie" by Wiz Khalifa came on. I seriously had forgotten how much I loved this song. I had to stop and dance for a bit before I got back to picture taking. It just puts me in a good mood! Sometimes it's good to go back and revisit all those songs you used to love ...
